Laurin McElheran

Laurin McElheran, DC, DABCO, FICC

Laurin McElheran is founder and director of BCA. He has extensive clinical experience and post-graduate training in chiropractic orthopedics and spinal impairment rating making him an expert in a wide range of spine related conditions. He holds Diplomate status with the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO) and is a certified chiropractic examiner for the Washington Department of Labor and Industries.

Dr. McElheran graduated with highest honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 1978 he founded Bellevue Chiropractic Associates and currently serves as the clinical director. In 1991 he obtained his post-graduate certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He has been honored as Washington State Chiropractor of the Year and recognized as a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractic (FICC) for his contributions to the profession. Dr. McElheran has served as President and Chairman of the Washington Chiropractic Association. He has authored and published chiropractic research papers and served many years as a chiropractic consultant/editor for a nationally prominent chiropractic risk-management insurance company.

Dr. Mac loves chasing any kind of ball, working outdoors, and finding enjoyable ways to spend time with his wife and family. Most of his time off you'll find him on the golf course, on the ski slopes, riding his bike, waterskiing, or digging another hole in the yard.

Over the years Dr. McElheran has committed countless hours of his time to local and state professional and community service organizations. He is a current member of several chiropractic societies including the American Chiropractic Association and the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
